Demonstrating potter at a festival held in Aurora, Colorado for children.
- Instructor, Downtown Aurora Visual Arts Center, Aurora, Colorado
Taught at risk youths ages 7-17 the pottery basics. Class size varied from 18-20 students everyday.
Awards and Scholarships
- Ceramics Mentorship Award: Awarded upon graduation to student who was most involved in building community, assisting, advising and mentoring other students. 2008
- Ken Ferguson Scholarship: Awarded based on studio excellence to students paying for school themselves. 2006 and 2007.
- Bright light Nunez Foundation Scholarship: A four year Scholarship 2004-2008.
